Design
The frond villas are the signature residential product of Palm Jumeirah. Built by Nakheel in a series of standard architectural styles, including Garden Home, Signature and Canal Cove typologies, many of the original villas are now 15 to 20 years old and represent the largest single source of renovation demand on the island. A frond villa renovation on Palm Jumeirah typically addresses a dated original kitchen, bathrooms that no longer meet contemporary luxury standards, and an interior layout that separated the living spaces from the beach view that is the whole point of the property.
Our frond villa work concentrates on three things: opening the ground floor towards the private beach and pool, replacing original finishes with materials rated for the marine climate, and upgrading the villa to current smart home and climate control standards. We specify engineered hardwood such as Mafi, which is proven for UAE heat and humidity, alongside large-format porcelain and natural stone from Cosentino for surfaces exposed to sun and salt. Kitchens are rebuilt using Italian systems from Poliform or Boffi, and full smart home integration through KNX, Lutron, Crestron or Savant is fitted as part of the villa renovation or as a standalone retrofit.
